I rescued buck from not such a good home as a puppy. He was very malnourished to the point where you can see his bones. I did not really want a dog at the time but I could not walk away from him in the condition he was so I took him. I later found out that the owner did not want him and barely fed him and gave him water in the state of Florida. Once he came to my house, I fed him properly on a regular schedule and put weight on him. He did a complete 360. It was like night and day. Buck is a great dog and has helped me get through some emotional times within the last two years I have had him. he loves to cuddle and just be loved because he never really got that as a puppy until I got him. I also do have pictures of what he looked like before I owned him and it’s a very sad state he was in. But he’s kind of like my service animal in a way because he just makes me happy all the time I couldn’t ask for a better dog.
