We first met Lucky 11 years ago, when we brought him into our lives as a pup. He was full of energy, always wagging his tail and looking at us with those big, trusting eyes. When we named him “Lucky,” we did so with hope. Hope that he would bring us good fortune. What we didn’t know at the time was that this sweet dog would end up being the greatest source of luck and joy in our lives. Recently, we found out that Lucky has developed a tumor on his back, and he’s been struggling with rectum issues that cause him a lot of pain and discomfort. It breaks our hearts to see him in pain. Despite everything, Lucky still tries to be his sweet, loving self, but his condition is getting worse, and he needed a surgery to make him feel better. From day one, Lucky became our family. He was there for every milestone: birthdays, holidays, and even the quiet, everyday moments that make life so special. Lucky gave us endless love and loyalty—he has always been there with a wag of his tail and a comforting presence, no matter what life threw our way. Unfortunately, due to financial hardship, the cost of the necessary treatments and surgeries for Lucky is more than we can afford. We’ve always tried to provide him with the best care, but right now, we’re asking for help.
