UPDATE 2/5/2021 Tyson continues to do well with his chemo treatments. Don’t get me wrong, he has his good days and bad days but, for the most part he’s doing amazing! I couldn’t be happier with the results, nurses, and the Doctor who are helping him along the way. He still loves to play ball, with his squeaky toys, and his doggy friends. However, his favorite part of the day is sunbathing on the back deck! 🙂 Although…he will take a break from that to go chase the Amazon van or mailman! This has been a very trying time with COVIDE, but with everyone’s love and support we have received along the way it, is making it a little easier. Thank you.

My dog Tyson, was just diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma. He is a 6-year-old pit mix. We rescued him at age 2 from Baltimore Animal Rescue & Care Shelter in Maryland. Since he is still young, and otherwise healthy, we have decided to do chemo treatments. The doctor first estimated it to cost $8,000 – $12,000. Due to him needing multi-agent protocol treatments and his weight. In addition, to other necessary medicine and procedures. But when we found out it was stage 4, we needed to get him scene ASAP and do preliminary chemo. Which was and extra $3,600. So now he is saying $11,000 – $15,000!! I’m going to pay for as much as I can, for as long as I can. But, without some help, I will not be able to afford the whole things. As long as he continues to have a good quality of life on the treatments, I would like to continue them. In addition, my mom recently passed away and I’m trying to care for her sick 14-year-old English springer spaniel (on 7 meds and supplements), and her sick 18-year-old cat (on 2 meds and supplements). Therefore, I’m asking for help for his medical treatments in efforts to prevent financial driven euthanasia. I’m a hard-working fur mom, but in desperate need to stay afloat with my normal monthly bills and keep all my fur babies alive (even the inherited ones). When I chose to rescue Tyson 4 years ago, I did not expect to be caring for 3 sick animals all at one time. I am a responsible pet owner, put in this challenging situation by no fault of my own. Due to unforeseen circumstance, here I am…Thank you for your generosity!
