We recently adopted a chihuahua out of state because my son wanted a teacup size dog. One became available that we added to our family 15 weeks ago. The pup had just been “treated”for a broken leg and we were assured by his previous owner that all would be well and the leg was healing well. I took Cash immediately to our local vet for an initial checkup. Cash was experiencing continual pain in his front leg. Dr. Cross immediately referred Cash to Skylos Sport Veterinary in Woodstock, MD for an orthopedic evaluation. It turns out that Cash’s injury and overall damage to this front leg is extensive. Cash is only three years old and is a wonderful, friendly dog despite the sufferings of his early life. We seriously would like to improve the quality of the rest of his life with our family.
