My sweet cat Tristan has a urethral obstruction meaning he can’t pass urine. His bladder was so full that it could have burst and killed him. Because he hasn’t been able to pee, his bloodwork is messed up with a lethal level of potassium. I have an amazing vet who is taking care of him. He’s really sick and will definitely be there for a few days to get his levels normal and hopefully have the catheter removed. The sad part is the cost. It’s all going to be around $2,000 that they basically need upfront. I’m in a situation where I’m on disability and going through cancer treatment. Please just pray, he is a therapy cat for me and has done nothing but help me through my anxiety and bad days. I need him to be ok.
