Update
It is with a very heavy heart that I post this update about Swagger. In spite of the speed at which people pulled together so that he could have his surgery, he was not able to stay with us. Little Swagger fought a good fight but has crossed over the rainbow bridge. We wish him happy times running free and playing with no pain. Please keep his owners in your thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time.

Swagger is a roughly 5 yo mini-dachshund. Everybody loves Swagger!

He is the sweetest Baby Weens and he’s currently hospitalized with IVDD and has no use of his back legs. With surgery, there is hope that he will not be permanently paralyzed. The breed is susceptible to Intervertebral Disk Disease (IVDD) which is a spinal disease that can cause lameness and paralysis, often very suddenly. That’s what’s going on here. A surgery can often help, but it is extremely expensive! http://www.petwave.com/Dogs/Health/Intervertebral-Disk-Disease/Symptoms.aspx
PLEASE HELP HIM GET HIS
SURGERY!!!
