Update 4/3/18
We have an update from Luna’s mom. Luna is back home, resting on her bed and taking it easy. She’s still in a lot of pain, but that should wear off within the next week. She’s got about 4-6 weeks of recovery, but she is doing great. Thank you to everyone that made this surgery possible.
Hi, my name is Leah. My boyfriend and I adopted Luna from a friend of ours in December of 2017. We have enjoyed watching her grow, eat, sleep and play. She loves running around, going to the park and playing with her sister. Right now it’s difficult for her to do those things because she was playing one day and fell off our large bed and fractured the ball in her socket of her hip and now has a limp and is on pain medicine and anti inflammatory medication until we can schedule her surgery. She tries so hard to play, but you can tell she wants to play like she used to. She’s just a 16 week old puppy and needs to get the ball removed so muscles around the socket can repair and she can get better. I normally never reach out for help, but she’s my best friend and I love her, I would do anything. Thank you for taking the time to read Luna’s story, god bless.
