Ferdinand was born with Severe valvular Pulmonary stenosis and needs to have a balloon valvuloplasty so he does not go into heart failure. Ferdinand came from a breeder that no longer wanted him because he could not be sold with this condition. The poor guy had not even been started on heart medications that only cost $30. I volunteer with a rescue for English/french bulldogs so when he came in I adopted him. I could not let this little guy go to someone who possibly would not do the surgery. Ferdinand is a little guy with a big personality and I’m determined to get him his heart surgery so he can live a long happy life!! Due to the surgeons schedule we are aiming for surgery in January.
