UPDATE 2/1/2021 Some sad news this morning from the ER. Doolie took a turn for the worse last night and crossed over the rainbow bridge. Our thoughts and prayers are with Doolie’s family. thank you to everyone that donated and kept Doolie in your thoughts.
Doolie was bought by my Mother (who is now deceased) for my oldest son when my son was 8 years old. I know have six children 20,14,9,8,5,and 4. Doolie has been a big part of my children’s lives and is a piece of my Mother that they actually have to hold onto. He has always been a healthy boy up until about 2 weeks ago when he stopped eating and drinking. I took him to the vet and the said that is is severely impacted and because he has not been eating, his liver is starting to be affected. He needs hospitalization for at least a few days for some fluids, feeding tube, and hopefully to be able to evacuate his colon. My husband recently had a massive heart attack and has been out of work for a year. He is now in end stage heart failure and waiting for a heart transplant. We do not want to give up on him.
