Buster is a diabetic. We have had pretty smooth sailing since he was diagnosed
in October 2016.
On 5/21/17 Buster was not doing well. He was lethargic , not
eating, dehydrated and just wasn’t himself. I took him to Emergency Veterinary
Clinic. He was immediately put on iv to get fluids and got blood work. He
tested for moderate ketones in his urine, was in fact dehydrated , and has very
low potassium. Buster will be in the hospital until it is safe enough to bring him
home with me. Like most emergencies they are unplanned and I need some
help to get my guy all the care that he needs. I am so grateful for any help and
advice we receive.
