Thank you to all that helped Alayah get the care she needed.
I have had Alayah since she was 8 weeks old. She loves to play fetch with her balls, loves kisses, and loves to cuddle. She is now 3 years and 5 months and has never had any major health issues until now. Alayah is my heart and I just don’t want to lose her because I can not afford treatment. A few days ago, Alayah started to display some really aggressive vomiting and bloody diarrhea . She lost weight so rapidly and couldn’t walk. It was like I was watching her die right in front of me. I immediately rushed her to the hospital where they discovered she was suffering from a condition called Hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. I have managed to get her the initial treatment, but she is taking longer to recover than expected and unfortunately I can not afford to keep her hospitalized until she is fully ready to come home. I have used all of my resources at this point and I really need help making sure she is able to get all of the necessary care. She is my emotional support and I am hers. I have visited her every day since she has been hospitalized and it breaks my heart to see her in so much discomfort. I am just asking for help so that I can be able to financially care for her at home after this is all over without incurring more debt. She is family to me and my family as any pet should be to their owner. I appreciate whatever is offered to help keep Alayah in good health .
