My name is Shannice, and I am asking for help to save my cat, Link. She is more than a pet to me, she is family and the companion to my younger cat, Sol. Link recently became ill and is being evaluated for a possible intestinal obstruction or another serious intestinal condition that may require surgery. The estimated cost is far beyond what I can afford on my own. I work two jobs and put in long hours every week, but despite working hard, I cannot cover an unexpected veterinary emergency of this size. I have already applied for financial assistance, searched for lower-cost veterinary care, and am contributing everything I reasonably can toward her treatment. Link is a sweet, loving cat who means the world to me. She still seeks affection and has been a wonderful companion to both me and Sol.
